Bella's version when Edward leaves her The rain drops fall silently, Onto my head, My tear drops are mingled, With the rain drops. I cry in the rain, And no-one notices. The rain cries on us, Everyone notices. No-one knows I’m crying, Crying out every memory. Crying out the memories, Of you. And me. All of the sad, first. Then all of the happy. The sad ones make me cry harder, But the happiest, Hardest of all. I’ll try to forget, The times we had together. I’ll try to remember, Now, you’ve gone. Moving on is so difficult, So impossible, so hard. And then, remembering everything, Just makes it worse. Wondering if you’re thinking of me, Then remembering you’re gone. So far away. Remembering all those hurtful things, That you told me. Then remembering your smile. You laugh, your voice. The words you said, echo around my head. Never to be forgotten. Remembering you brings a smile on my face. It lights me up inside. But then, remembering that you’ve gone, Brings me down inside. ________________________________________ Edward's version of how he sees Bella To see you there, With blood so sweet, Standing, still and straight. Watching me, hopeful. You want me to change you, But that's nearly impossible. Because if I taste your blood, I'll just suck you up, dry. I don't understand you, I'll be with you forever. And when you become old and die, I'll try to be quick, and stay with you. I don't understand why you have to change, Just to be one of me, And stay with me forever, Just me. But can't you see? How important you are in my eyes? How I gave up my desires, My thirsts for your blood, Just to be with you. With you forever, day and night. To watch you, talking in your sleep, And me, watching you, wishing I could sleep, So I could dream about you. It could never be me again, It will always be him. You love him, like you love me. Why can't you see that? Can't you see that I love you, The same way he does. He's not right for you. He's not a human. It's against nature, for prey to love a predator. You'd be better off with me. You're marrying him. And turning into him. How much more insane could you be? Bella, please Bella.
